takes me back to the summer of 1998 when i rode a sponge standing up all summer long and would rather hit it that my shortie
until i ripped the ligaments in my ankle and knee getting a bit too rad trying to land a backhand 360 lip slide into elevator drop via the nasty closeout trough hit the water surface like it was concrete CRUNCH SNAP
then had to limp home using the sponge as a crutch up the headland and thru the bush 400m to home
straddie is so unforgiving.
