Spend $20 at bunnings and knocked one up in about 20 min really like the footage, just a shame they look pretty stupid out in the surf

dj maybe I should strap it to my foot and shoot up then should work for a dw just need to turn your head to get the rig to swing

have run a teather from the gopro to the bolt on the castor then just taped it down. Counter weights are just washers bolted to end cap and taped for a bit of padding. just zip tied on for now will make a bracket to attach to gopro clip. Does slowly fill with water through bolt hole so didn't glue 2nd end cap can just tip it out while out back

That works pretty well - gives you an even better perspective of the wave than the mouth-mount. And it makes the board look tiny! Maybe you need the tube to be made of clear perspex so it is less noticeable - it would look like the GoPro was floating in the air.
