1st - Harry Maskell (Red) : 19.15
2nd - Wes Fry (Blue) : 12.25
3rd - Josh Stretton (Yellow) : 12.20
4th - Nic Walker (White) : 10.05

Thanks for this video Casso! You took the time to get (nearly) complete rides, and show especially the take offs, that are critical on these narrow boards. Very interesting, especially compared with the frustratingly short official vids of the event.

I didn't know Harry Maskell, but wow! the power in his turns, no dishpan there...

Really solid vids Casso.... showcased all riders and rides perfectly.
Congratulations to all the finalists.... great surfing

I would rank my favorite's, without regard for division:
1 - Shakira
2 - Steve
3 - Harry

They SUP surfed the way I enjoy watching it .... smooth carving power!
Shakira was amazing! SUP surfing perfection IMO.... surf like Shakira!

Thanks Casso, all 3 vids are great. Thanks for taking the time to film and edit, much appreciated.
It is really good to see the total scores too & where they placed respectively as it looks like flow was scored fairly highly.

How's Harry's 19.15.........that's just insane........He just gets better each surf, and also love Justin's power hacks and cutty's, best in the biz

Thanks Casso - sick vids man.
I thought Holland surfed well too. Drew good lines, nice cutties and threw a few buckets around.

Bugger this - bl***y Darwin.
No swell and it's hotter than the devil's armpit.
I'm movin'.

When the missus asks why, I'll just show her Casso's vids.

So did old mate in the blue get extra points for what looked like a blatant SUP rider kook act and running over old mate in the white. Hope he got some points for whites interference

Casso, I'm keen to learn the judging criteria for SUP comps. Are they based on (or similar to) WSL criteria? ie,

1. Commitment and degree of difficulty
2. Innovative and progressive manouvres
3. Combination of major manouvres
4. Variety of manouevres
5. Speed, power and flow

Judging scale:
[0.0 - 1.9: Poor]
[2.0 - 3.9: Fair]
[4.0 - 5.9: Average]
[6.0 - 7.9: Good]
[8.0 - 10.0: Excellent]

Or, do SUP comps have a different criteria?
