instead of 10+ or maybe everyone has to go 25" wide like Jackson to make real noserides and real longboarding. I know Jackson is a champion but I am sure that the other competitors could surf a lot better and with more style with shorter longboard style board or at least narrower.
Yes I know what you mean with the drop down in width, there is a mountain of difference from the 28 wide to the 25 or 26 inch wide boards as well as the change in the volume of boards. 10ft is the size

but with the drop in width comes the question of stability, but that is something you get use to if performance is the key....
It was only a few years ago that the most narrow board around in that sort of length was 30-32 inch so with the likes of Jackson's input and evolution of designs together with a few other local makers getting on board, the "performance"is being put into that category now.
