Surfing Queensland hosted the 2016 HIF Agnes Water surfing festival in Agnes water 7-9 April 2016. Event had contestable waves all weekend with the point and beach break holding the waves over the days tides. Open Mens and Womens SUP divisions were well represented from the Central Queensland SUP crew from Gladstone, Agnes Water and Bargara. SUP is continuing to grow in the region and I'm sure it won't be long before we get the southern Queensland crew and others coming up for the weekend to surf in fun waves in board shorts and comp rash shirts. This event caters for junior and senior shortboard and longboard and open men and women SUP looking after everyone.

Great job Surfing Queensland for running such a great comp that we can sit back and enjoy the surf and have all the judging and event running done by the professional team at Surfing Queensland.

Was a great event as always!, Agnes Water is such a great spot to get away for the weekend!...great to have Surfing QLD run an event like this that the whole family can compete in from under 10 parent assist to shortys and longboarders of all ages and male and female SUP divisions, can't wait till next year
