The 12 Towers had to be moved this year to Brisbane's Moreton Bay due to the cyclonic swell. Turned out to be an awesome downwind race with over 120 competitors. Here's a little vid of the day.

Good to see all the local SE Qld Clubs putting their foot forward to enhance community participation and showcasing the sport. They are a big assistance to the organisers of this event.

When I saw that the 12 Towers and Noosa were on on consecutive weekends I nearly jumped on a plane, after reading about both events I wish I had. I know the 12 towers event was originally planned to be held earlier but for people outside Qld it would be great if they were planned on consecutive weekends it would make it much more tempting to spend the money on an interstate trip.
