Well the money is there ...I'm going to buy one of the two boards 10.8 fusion wood or the 11 Nalu .
the fusion has 193 litre the 11 Nalu 175 ..more inclined to get the Nalu .
but the fusion is wider @ 34.
I'm mainly going to use it in 1-2 foot waves on on shore side shore wind days where my x32 Hokua struggles .
anyone ridden both boards can give any idea of which board would be the best in these conditions .
keep in mind I have a 170 litre Hokua .which likes clean steep surf .also have a 11 glide .
tardy ???

I'm rapt in my 11' Nalu.. I had it out at Suicide at Pt Leo yesterday and got one great wave that let me put some power/drive though the bottom turn.. Wow.. It bottom turned so nice and smooth giving me plenty of speed to turn off the top.. I'd only had it in small mushy waves in the past and I though it was good then but it really comes alive in the bigger waves.. You should demo both before you decide if you can..

Sorry no camera and vid.. Maybe that's why I got some good turns happening..

Wish I did did have my camera because I could have filmed this grumpy old local guy that abused me for trying to snake him..

Sharing waves is obviously not his cup-a-tea..

I surfed my 10'6 Alana (Nalu) yesterday... it is an amazing longboard... truly amazing.
I haven't seen the 11', but I'm sure it shares the linage.

My 10'8 Fusion was a really nice board.... very stable, turned great and was a pleasure on flat-water...... but it did NOT noseride. Period.
I walk all over every board... but not the Fusion......I traded it after 30 days

If you do not venture off the pad, the Fusion is a really nice board.

disclaimer.... I had mine a few years ago.... it's possible they changed the bottom under the nose since then.

wow 30 days .you must love nose riding .
i think maybe the lower volume board could possibly be a better surfer ( Nalu )
but I don't nose ride ,much . JP fusion boards have a great shape this year .
but need something I can catch small waves easy .

my question is, are the Malibu type boards better in small waves .
Or do we get a big throw around loose fusion ..?@ 193 litres

did have a 10 mana@ 190 litres ,but found the nose got caught up a lot in small messy surf
due to not been long enough .just opinion.
Cheers.
