Just received mine..
It must be a tough job promoting the movie..
.. btw Liberace wants his shirt back.. ![]()
Finished viewing it, I really loved it!
Editing is slick, but respecting the rides, you can get often the whole ride, showing the dynamics of the wave and the mood of a session. Too often for instance Keahi surfing is reduced to his dishpanning, but here we can appreciate his extraordinary wave reading and improvisation. Much better than "The SUP Movie" in this regard.
Image quality is superb, camera angles varied, mixing seamlessly from shore/rock, in water, on board, subjective...
Von Piros, you can be proud of your work!
I've watched mine a few times now.. Awesome vid and such good value.. I just lent mine to a kiting friend and he loved it so much he said he's going to order his own copy.. I told him about the cheaper download option and he said "Bargan" .. ![]()
Wow Colas thank you so much I really appreciate that and thanks to you DJ. Myself and Daniel O’Sullivan shot most of the vision and we both sat behind our computers for just over a year to edit. Everything was done in house with no external funds .
All the riders paid their own way to be in it and it’s an old school production and I think that reflects in the movie. Living The Stoke 3 is on the slab…where too next not sure but it will be fun. This isn’t a money making exercise but just chasing my passion.

You have a talent and in this day and age were there are bugger all new movies hitting the stores it was a welcome relief.
You must have been stoked with the turn out at Board Culture and the way you presented the evening was classic, like it was
back in the day,Jack McCoy style.I loved those dumb questions you asked at the end on the viewing and handed out the free stuff
classic.

I guess a lot of sweat has been spent for having such a polished result!
Can't wait for more!
Thanks again Colas. Off to Fiji on Friday for the release over there.Tourism Fiji are flying us over and the FSA (Fiji Surfing Association) have also got behind it. Forecast is looking pretty solid and the JP 7-4 x 28 Slate is packed with a new camera set up mounted on it. I hope to get some epic footage of the 100 keg Dogman charging on it. This will be a do or die test for the board.
We have a soft launch at the Beachouse where the movie was shot this Saturday April 25th and then the main Premier at the Sofitel on Denarau Island the following Saturday May 2nd. This is definitely the fun part yeeeeew.
