Thanks Tardy, ripping Dude!
I learned a lot from your video!
I am always working on vertical snaps, but I can't seem to get my back foot on the stomper properly.
I can get vertical, but I fail to snap back down most times.
Being old and heavy, I need to ride a 9'4 Acid
If I turn from the stomper, I stall after the turn because my weight is too far back, and I have to move my feet to trim forward.
Your vid shows that you simply need to shift weight from your back foot to your front foot.
also:
1: my front foot is consistently further back than yours... BUT
2: Your back foot is on the stomper.... mine is not.
To widen your stance, you flex your knee sideways, to get your foot all the way back
My back knee (right leg) simply can't handle any lateral pressure (green arrow)
so my stance is too narrow to be on the tail
and handle of a 9'4 Acid
(foot outline shows where my back foot ends up)
I guess I need to lose more weight and ride a shorter board

funny .... I have zero problem getting to the stomper on the 14' Search.... and I don't stall.
I think the leverage of all that board in front of me, brings it right back into trim.
found a shot that shows my narrow stance (9'4 Creek)
