Local guy has what appears to be a 14' carbon Glide...........it's very rough, but likely can be had for an appropriate price. I want this as a beater board to get friends interested and as a no risk downwind tool - read to learn and get better on.

Know I want the V2 version, believe that's 2012 and newer, but the offset handle is what's got me confused. Anyone with some "for sure" ID capabilities would be great - thanks in advance

What a great time that was for SUP boards.

I saw a wood veneered glide the other day. It was really nice. The guy had no idea what year it was.

I think it was 2010.. They only made a few and I don't think any made it to Oz.. Where did you see it?
I know Bill Babcock was lucky enough to get one and he was in Hood River in the US.

In France. The guy thought they were made for an event or show in Paris.

That glide is a great downwind board, especially in strong winds and have never really come across a board that surfs so well off the tail in super windy downwind conditions. Regret getting rid of mine years back, though must say the handle is tough and the modern handles do make such a positive difference out of the water. Always an option to get someone to try replace the handle
