Sorry I missed out on this thread.... my campground lost it's internet service for a week, so I have been flying blind

"it is only 12 liters more than my flow and 5/16 wider so will still give me some challengers (maybe)"
The SP25 is light years more stable than the Flow at equal sizes IMO
My 9' Flow gives me grief.... but I am comfortable on my 8'8 SP25 at my current 107 kg
"next feb I may get the 8'10 SP 24 ,as big swell starts in march for us"
By then, the SPX should be out.
Sean Poynter is testing the SPX, which is a blend between the SP24 and SP25
"I am also looking at that one also the kanga ,I'm really not to keen to go below 30'5 wide or go much over 8'8"Oddly enough, I have never synced with my 8'9 Kanga.
Rode it last summer on the best swell of the season and was wishing I was on my other boards.
It just doesn't give me the easy performance I find in the big 9'6 at all.
I did ride the 9'6 Kanga in the biggest waves I've surfed in 40 years (3 x OH) and it was awesome... but the 8'9, not the same IMO
and yeah.... the Wedge is above my pay grade.
IMO, it requires strong, young legs with a lot of snap to unlock the magic that I know is in the Wedge.

Bomber Boy... wait for the Ghost

It opens my eyes daily!
My SoloShot keeps failing lately, so no new video, but WOW!
Your custom SP25:
Thinner round tail, step rails and different hips? Sounds like your Flow V2!
Too bad you weren't able to nab the 8'8 SP25... very different board from the 8'11,
but then, the 8'11 will be comfortable for years down the road.....
Besides, soon you'll only use your Ghost anyway

I'm thinking of selling my van because yesterday just convinced me that I don't need all those other boards
