I can buy a brand new2011 pro at a good price, just wondering if there was much differance between the 2012 model.

I have a carbon 2011 and it is a good alround board so it is worth considering. I have 3 sups and this is a keeper in my view. I bought it new and it is my oldest board now. From my recollections of the forums most people seem to prefer the 11 model to the 12. They have similar volumes but they changed the bottom shape to a single concave with the result itmay be faster. Either way they are both pretty close and the choise is yours. Carbon in my view is the prefered option as it is lighter, more responsive and stronger. My board still looks like new whereas most boards with lots of use show it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info john, i was just a bit concerned with the double concave, but was impressed when i but the straight edge on the deck it is a bit flatter then the 2012. Just decieding wether to cart it back from maui as i brought a sup with me.
