Looking at grabbing a older 10' mana as a first sup. I'm 6 foot and about 90 kg. Would this suit? any advice, thoughts. Will be used for both flat and sometimes in the surf.

I reckon that's a good choice.....very stable and very friendly in the surf.
I'm a similar size to you and the 10' mana was one of my early boards.......the 32" width will be your friend

My best mate just bought a new 10' mana and he's 6'4 and round 105 and loves it. He's and ex knee boarder who I pointed out he had legs and now surfing on it no worries. Excellent choice and it will not hold you back at all or need to be replaced in a year or so when you out grow it.

Hi Tuscan I started SUP boarding in January on an 11' NSP, fine in flat water but a dog in the surf. I have just had a 10' 2014 Mana GT for 3 weeks - it's a great board. Good in flat water and surprisingly good in the surf. I'm getting back into the surf after a 10 year lay off, would describe my skills as intermediate. I had the Mana out in overhead peaks on Sunday and was a bit nervous about its ability to cope but it was fine. I would rate it as an excellent beginner board for its stability, glide and wave catching. I can stand up out the back without a problem and have caught everything from ankle slappers to overhead waves on it. It turns and trims well, you can walk it and do cut backs - not in the ripper class though. For flat water cruising I have bought a 71/2" long board fin off a mate and will run that at the back of the box.
I'm 5'11 - 103kg - 62years old.

Ditto to above - I've got the 2015 Mana 10' GS, and find it a great all-rounder inc. reasonable 'surf-ability' at 110kgs & 6'2"
