thanks in advance guys, your input and advice is greatly appreciated.
Im looking around for my first SUP and at 6ft/95kgs looking 30%flatwater30%surf and 30%family
ive concluded that i need around 190ltres.Ive paddled both 2014 10`6 nalu at 30`wide was a bit understable and the naish mana 10` at 33` was the right width but maybe to short for flatwater glide and putting my 5yearold (10kgs)daughter on the front maybe alittle short.
I really need a 10`6``/33`/190ltrs and can only find a 2nd hand F-one Manawa for $1300 (no paddle)
or a VanHunks Iduna(?) 10`6/33/180ltres.package for $1700.Which board would be first choice?
Can anyone out there offer an guidence or other board options for similar volumes?
I standup surf twice a week and will only be riding SUP when surfs UNDER two foot
and require my first board to be less performance/more allround etc.
All input or random opinions will be taken on board.
Cheers Clanka

+1 for the Nalu 10'10" - would be the perfect board for you.

Ha! you say that now...

10'10 Nalu is a good choice

also look at the 10'6 or 11' Fanatic Allround

I'd be interested to know what you want to do with it for the other 10%

I think the 11'4 Naish Nalu would also be fine. It was my first board and I bought it for the exact same reasons as you. THe missus used it on knee slapper waves. I learnt to surf and used it up to overhead surf. I prone surfed it with my 6 year old son with us both standing up on mellow waves. Awesome fun and I think it would be exactly what you're after. If a cheap one comes up, go for it.
