Usually a board this wide is not normally associated with high performance...obviously they are judging by the feedback and description on the Naish site..what design features makes this board so good..? Are they durable? And can anyone point me in the right direction when choosing between the 8"3 and 8"8 models. IM 6ft and 94 kgs..would say advanced skill level. These have just hit our shores in NZ..unlikely to demo so any feedback be great
Cheers

At your height and weight I'd say the 8'8"

They are strong and durable and yet pretty light.

They are a performance board for bigger guys.. Bigger guys need wider boards.

Thanks DJ..i ride a allwave 8"6 130L already...would I not be better to stick with the 130L? Your thoughts most appreciated?

With the 8'8'' being 140 lts and the 8'3'' being 130 you might be fine on the 8'3'' .. are you after more stability or more performance

I,m 85 kg on a good day and went for the 8'3" . Dropped down from a SB 8'10" with no real probs at all. Based in WA so ride in plenty of chop which can be challenging but getting dialled into it now after 2 months

Im 98 kg and purchase the 8?3 , arrives in march here in Spain so not feedback yet, I think I can ride with no problem the 7?10 since my old board is a stb 7?11 x 29,5 , but i like more the shape of the 8?3(dont like the boards that look more wide than tall) and i preffer to gain a little bit of stability

Look into a custom supmaori . Im 92 kg and went from a 8'10 pro wave fanatic to a 8'7 x 29" 110 ltr DTM and love it . I found the transition wasn't bad at all .
