Hi,
Being new to paddle boarding (i.e. still struggling to stay upright for more than 20 seconds) and 64 years of age and 6 ft 3 in and 96 kilos, I am looking for a stable board to paddle the generally flat waters of Moreton Bay and the local rivers and lakes.
Has anyone had experience with Irocker inflatables, especially the irocker cruiser. I can see that red paddle are about the top rated but they are also twice as much. I am struggling to find independent reviews.
Cheers,
GB
HI GB , If you are new to the sport and struggling with balance then an inflatable board of any kind won't be doing you any favours in my opinion . I'd suggest checking out a used 28" or 30" carbon or glass cruising board if you can get your hands on one which will feel much more stable ( a Naish Glide would be a great start ) also check out the Brissup FB page and try to get along to one of their social paddles . there will be heaps of different race and cruising boards you may be able to try out . Hope this helps
