Any ideas on go-pro mount position? Bit over the front of the board view.....

I am not an expert but what I did is that I downloaded the app for my cell and you can watch real time what the camera is looking from your cell, so you can find the spot you prefer. Cheers

I use the chest strap fairly regularly and gives a good perspective. A mate of mine has it on a lanyard and has cut down the floaty on the back door so that as he goes for a wave, he puts it in his mouth and bites down on the floaty. Also means he gets footage of wherever his is looking. Other good option is the paddle mount, or right at the tail of the board.

I fitted a FCS plug to the bottom of my 12fter. the grab bag has the mount. change the setting to upside down and away you go. Get some interesting stuff sometimes.

Hey DJ

Love the options. Can you post some pictures of the different mounts. Every image of your board shows no evidence of the mounts so its hard to see how they work.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Some good ideas there! DJ has got some classic mounts, but I don't want it getting ripped off in punchy surf either. Will play around with a few of these suggestions. Cheers

Most of my mounts are home made with pvc pipes and duct tape.. You can see one at the end of this vid..
