Just a quick review, I ordered this fin for one purpose lumpy side chop conditions. When it arrived I was shocked at how big it was, its huge.
The next thing is its a little bit hard to line up to screw into the fin box as it even comes whith a special little tool to fit, a bit like a bent fcs tool.
So today I finally got to use it in its suited conditions and yes its perfect, its keeps you up to 50 percent more stable, also keeps you going in a straight line instead of the board turning all the time, complimented my naish 26x perfectly. I would recommend this fin for rough side chop water to anyone

I've had one of these for a couple of years and have used it on a few boards. I'm a fan, it's a big aid to tracking and stability for me in chop and slop (the silly hole-in-the-middle arrangement...you'll get used to it, although I think Larry has gone away from that with later versions of that fin). It can feel a little bit draggy in perfect glass but we almost never get that where I live (at which times I swap it out for a Larry Ninja).

I agree I can feel the drag on dead glass and would never use it in that again, but in the ruff its gold !
