If you've got surfing ability (which it looks like you have!

) You'll be grinning like a Cheshire cat coz you'll know that you've got a board that you can use as a windsurfer, crappy and good conditions and even for exercise on the flat if worse comes to worse ( it is an advanceced
ALLROUNDER). They are the surfboard equivalent of a Fish, they are for fun in lots of conditions, mushy, crosshore, onshore etc. You can definitely have fun in perfect waves, though you might still want a skinnier board for very hollow waves. I have only ever got barreled by accident on my 9'2" but I'm 183 cm and 100-110kg dependent on where in the footy season we are. At worst you will have a go to board that you can use all of the time!!

At best you will use it all the time!!

. I've bought a custom TSJ ( Laguna Bay) only because I'm addicted to SUP surfing (Cheaper than an ex-wife) and I want to try and get more barrels, which is IMHO the only thing that Allwaves struggle with. If you want to win comps you will also want a board with thinner rails to assist with verticality and cutbacks. I reckon I can gaurantee one thing and that is maximum enjoyment.
