Has anyone had experience with the Yob foil board? I'm undecided weather to get one or look at something 2nd hand.

I have had a yob 6''0" foil sup for about 6 months. Mainly used as a wing board but had a few sessions sup foiling used with Axis foils. Very happy with the board, great construction and the shape works really well, easy to paddle with the boxes parallel rails, pumps on to the foil great and touches down really gently. Have also used the 6'5" and 6'10", the boards are all quite high volume for their size so can go a shorter than you'd think to learn on. Great value from a locally(WA) owned and developed brand, important now more than ever to support local small business so would highly recommend them.

I've got the 6'0 110 L version. Carbon construciton and 2021 model.

theres probably nothing wrong with the board, but its waay too small for my beginner foiler lack of talent. I've been trying to SUP foil on it - forget it, its freaking impossible - and Wing foil (seems almost doable but no real sucess yet after 7 sessions.)

im 85 kg and very capable SUP surfer on 110 L standard SUPs.

So I'm just posting so others with no skill dont fall into the same trap i went for. or at least, get the bigger model

I'll hang onto the board with a view to using it to wingdingalinging when my skills improve, but I'm off to the shops now to get something less impossible to SUP foil with

Love my 110l yob carbon board. Learnt how to wing foil on it over the last 6 months and still love it. I'm 82kg , probably should swap for a smaller one now.
