Yup, here he is testing some of his longSUP line (the model "Mbolog" I use that I shown isn't even in the picture). All between 9'0" and 10' for the carbon range (the glass ones can go to 12'). But as SteveM74 said, I guess there is no shortage of good shapers in OZ, especially since I think a good longboard SUP can be shaped by any good longboard shaper, whereas shortboard-like SUPs need a specific shaping expertise that pure prone board shapers lack.



Note that we are seeing successful SUP shapes at Gong even now be produced as prone surfboard shapes, with less volume and width... kind of closing the circle...

On the length, in France we tend to have small cars and small houses, so 10'+ boards do not sell well.

What is the lowest volume for ten footer you have made?

That Board looks sick the one the guys carrying ??

The ten footer is 102 lts.

The board that guy is carrying (by the way, the shapper himself) is a Neverstick Pro 9'6 125 lts.

It is difficult to answer, as light guys often just buy a prone longboard to SUP on them. In the Gong line, the 9' went down to ~ 100 liters, and the 10' are now more geared towards bigger guys. See:

- The Zero and Moblog are derived from SUP shapes
- The Incredible Ten is both SUPable and surfable
- As you can see light guys have plenty of choices to SUP a prone longboard shape. Especially the carbon versions will be tough enough for SUPing.

Don't feel too bad. Just wanted to hold it and sort of snuggle up to it. The keeper of the vault won't let me spend anything at the moment, some nonsense about can't afford it or were on the pension (hasn't stopped me before}

Just thought I would add my comments in here on the Infinity Big Deal. Demoed on in Perth last month 10 ft x 27", initially thought 27" and low volume would be an issue (85 kg and suped for 4 years) but in the conditions where I would take a ten footer out the New Deal was superb. Normally ride wave sups around 8 ft but like the whole 10 ft idea and intersts me so on the hunt for a 10 footer that rides like a short board. Tried the Sunova and Fanatic but not too impressed, old Laird models are great but hard to come by. The New Deal was fantastic and so light surfed like my Naish Maddog, so fast down the line and carved like a train. Felt lively underfoot definetlty top of the list so far
