Hi All,

I have been surfing a 10ft sup for a few years now and am wanting a smaller and better performing board. I have been looking around for a secondhand board Like a Naish Mana or a Fanatic Allwave Naybe even a Sunova Speed....around 9ft or just under.

I am around 88kg and am thinking of a board around 130lt...ish..about 9ft long.

I see the Vex Profusion Carbon 9ft as a good option for the similar price of a secondhand board I have been looking for. I cannot demo as they only do demos in Queensland.

All or any opinions on any or all boards greatly appreciated.

At your weight the 9'5" Mana would be a perfect choice.. I have one that you're welcome to try.. I'm not sure about the other boards but if the dementions are similar they should be ok.. But you do need to demo first.

They would all be good options. With the Allwave, you might even consider a little shorter because of the width. I have the Vex 8' and am your weight, so the 9' would no problem, you may even consider the 8'6" version.

If you get it for a good price I'd go for the Vex - probably even drop to the 8'6 - I think its around 125l. I have an allwave 9'1 and seriously it feels like a battle ship vs my 8'6 carbon vex. The vex flies on those waves that really stand up on the banks. You want to get good fins on it though so factor that in. I imagine the new model goes even better than my 2015 one. Haven't tried any of the smaller allwaves. I'm about your weight and 59 yo.
