I surf a Naish Hokua xe32 le and am in the market for something with a lot less rocker and is suitable for up to 2 ft....
Get a "wide ass" (mini-Simmons, tomo, fish, ...) parallel rails shape.
- The wide tail will alllow riding them VERY short (7') while taking off as early as longboards. Dont worry, these designs are incredible stable and paddle quite well
- The short length will allow you to use a VERY flat rocker without pearling
- The flat rocker will introduce you to the world of insane speeeeeeeed!
- Have designs with heavy tail concave(s) and the possibility to put fins quite far back for control at these insane speed (C-Drives work great), and you would never use any other board again...
With my 100kg I would just have pushed water on a havey rockered board in these conditions: (total rocker on my 6'8" is 21cm = 8")
