Surfed mine today and had some time on the nose.
All good.
Why are you thinking it's a dud?

I've been having a ball on mine great way to learn how to walk ! Would like to try something a little narrower , some time ! Perhaps weight and width could be refined ,although a little weight on a board like that is perhaps not too bad a thing ,certainly no dud though, in my opinion! I ride mine with single 11.5 center fin , havn't tried it as a thruster set up ,
but surely that would loosen it up!

I tried multiply centre fins as Thrusters and have just gone to a quad setup and love it 28" wide with Shapers prototypes...

I dont dislike my mistress !!! I have only ridden her a few times and she sometimes feels smooth but sometimes bites like a bitch ! So I'm just after some info on how you dress your mistress ? I nave only ridden with stock fins ??????

Try running shapers S9 allround as a thruster and start the centre fin in the middle of the box. Move it forward for small surf and back as it gets bigger. Stock fin set up does need removing and replacing if you want any board to change its performance.

Thats my set up atm and it is a great setup for all surfing conditions.

Ruben goes OK with a single fin...

I've been riding the mistress in a bit of wind and sometimes taken off pretty late ! Probs only 2 foot but cant beleive the recovery of burying the nose and probs should b going over the handlebars and up she pops the rocker thru the tail when you stand on it seems to b the key ! She is a keeper untill someone can do 27 wide and 2kg lighter ! im a fly weight and shes alot of board ! I love her ??
