They look too fancy to surf! They should go straight to the pool room.

I didn't like it at first, as I expect a Sunova to look a certain way... but I must admit... it's growing on me

and go for a walk to the nose.
It does capture the natural essence of logging
Seriously, depth of cool

Just bought a TR3 Steeze with black rails. Are these bronze rails going to replace the black or is it a more expensive version, anyone know ?

What is the board with the silver/grey nose? Is this a new board design?

I believe bronze rail is the standard TR3 after Jan 2020

Note:
The XXX Balsa construction will be an option after January, and it will cost more.

Fear not, all you Sunova owners.... your balsa Sunovas are not outdated, they are actually a more expensive option now

Good to see new lines coming out from Sunova.

Have they removed the pull up handle from all the lines?

Just read elsewhere the handles are being removed. Shame I like them on my Sunova's.

It looks like the new Torpedo to me. An all round race board that's great in the waves so it is ideal for BoP style races.

I was admiring my Creek out in the sunny, warm Vicco conditions we had yesterday, thinking about how it would look finished in paulownia instead of balsa...I think I'm a balsa kinda guy...I still reckon the original red/yellow fade is the best finish I have seen...

Also, with reference to the balsa/paulownia finishes, it's not a new thing, at least in sailing circles...back in my Moth sailing days in the 80's, Paulownia was a favoured timber for scow moth construction, and had been for years before this. Both light and cheap. Still being used for the occasional scow built now. Balsa was also used, originally as and end grain sandwich (instead of foam), but of course it became a sponge if either skin was pierced. My last moth was a strip-planked balsa skiff (hull) with a paulownia deck and cockpit. Beautiful boat.

I agree that the red/yellow Creek finish is the best that Sunova does. The Paulonia looks great above without the colour tints. The raceboards with colours look better in balsa. For some reason, the grain of Paulonia doesn't seem to suit the colour tints as well.

Another vote for the Paulonia finish with no tints. The supsurfs look so good without it so why not do the same for other sup. Specially as tint seem to fade over time (at least the orange of teh Allround from my friends).
