"I am interested to know further your thoughts on the Flow being ridden in "the shortest you can handle to get the most out of it". Are you able to expand on what you mean this?"
Just a feeling I get from it.... as I say, not enough good conditions yet, to really run it.
It is fairly wide design, with fullish hips, which makes it very stable and gives it a lot of lift to help catch waves, so I think it can be ridden shorter than the Soul and the Speeed. This is a guessing game with me right now, based on how comfortable I am on the 9'2 Flow.... it feels as stable as the 9'5 Speeed (but doesn't paddle as well)
I would love to try the 8'10 Flow next summer, to see how it compares to my 8'10 Speeed.... I'd
really like a run at the 8'7 Flow!!!!!
Bottom line, I feel it is best ridden as short as you are comfortable, in order to limit the width.... I am a fan of as narrow as possible.
There is a formidable blizzard outside as I write this..... I am hoping to get some quality waves in the next few days.
Hopefully I'll get some good sessions on it.....
IF I can get off my Speeed long enough
