So, thinking about these two boards and there's plenty folks on here who have surfed them. Both have 10 x 30 versions and are roughly around the same litres. What's the pros and cons of each that you have found? Similar in stability? Which one easier to surf for an intermediate? Which better for weaker waves and so on. Is there enough rocker in the Revolution or does that big nose dive or catch and how domed is that deck.not a fan of domed decks.

The Revolution has quite a rolled deck... And quite a bit of rocker to help the nose not catch.

What is your style of long boarding? Traditional Log type (nose riding as the priority) or more High Performance surfing from the tail (think short boarder riding a longboard)?

Depending on which style you prefer, that would determine the board choice more than anything else. Yes all of the boards below can be surfed either way, but some focus more on one type than the other.

For me:
Trad Longboarding - JL Black and Blue, Sunova Style, Smik Style Lord
HP Longboarding - Sunova Revolution, Sunova Surf, Smik Hipster Longboard, Naish Nalu Pro, Starboard Longboard etc

All of these boards are fantastic. They just have their nuances.

I think Style Lord...looks user friendly.good tail, good nose and decent rocker..rails look fine without being super low.

Have a look at the jimmy lewis destroyer HP, it just works.

Have not ridden the revolution but own 10 x28 style lord. Very happy with it. Good nose rider and turns very well from the tail. Easy to ride board and it is forgiving if you are standing in the wrong spot. Best thing is you can turn it from anywhere, don't have to be over the kick pad to get speed and trim.

Great.just read your review too. (Or are you talking about Twin Pin?)

Had the style lord for about 14 months so comment was the Style Lord. It is an amazing board as well. If you want to progress and have a board that your feet don't have to be in the right place or you surf more from the middle of the board the Style Lord is the one. And it is a great nose rider. The twin pin your need to move and be back over the fins for the short board turns Smik talk about. It is a high performance board and needs to be ridden that way. On the back for turns and drive, the middle for trim speed and the nose for five's and a cheeky ten.

Love my 9 x 30 Revolution. Very easy to surf well(for me).
