I had a 2022 10X29 and a 2024 9'5X30. The 2022 was surprisingly stable for its volume and fast down the line but I thought it was a bastard to swing around; the newer version has the same volume but with a way narrower nose outline, you can literally do anything with it. I'd go for the newer version of you have the choice.
I'm considering a Starboard longboard as well. SoCal, Which construction 9'5"x30" do you have? And care to add any more details? Thanks!
This is not a starby bash,but there has been a bit of talk about the true weight of the longboard model,perhaps check weight before purchase, I for one would pay the extra if they could use the pro tech in , ...the longboard range,!..like in 2013 there best construction strength/weight to date ...IMO.
