appreciate if there is anyone who tried both starboard longboard 2022 vs the new shapes (2023,2024 etc.) and the comment on the differences

I had the 2021 one 10x31. Which I think is the same as the 2022 and 2023. I think the shape was updated in 2024. I now have the 2024 as my longboard option. the 2021 was stupid stable, straighter outline and I found it pretty dead on a wave for me. Probably just too big for me the 2024 is a massive upgrade as far as I'm concerned. Still very stable but not at the cost of surf ability. It's got more of an outline curve and surfs better in my opinion.

I have friends that have the 10x29 2022 model and they love it. But that's just too narrow for me.
I would agree with the online reviews of the 2024 model especially on supboarder and sup international

I had a 2022 10X29 and a 2024 9'5X30. The 2022 was surprisingly stable for its volume and fast down the line but I thought it was a bastard to swing around; the newer version has the same volume but with a way narrower nose outline, you can literally do anything with it. I'd go for the newer version of you have the choice.

This is not a starby bash,but there has been a bit of talk about the true weight of the longboard model,perhaps check weight before purchase, I for one would pay the extra if they could use the pro tech in , ...the longboard range,!..like in 2013 there best construction strength/weight to date ...IMO.

I have it in the blue carbon. It's a great board, light if a bit heel well prone (I've been told that was an issue with the 24s, and that they've tried to remedy this with the 25s). I've surfed it in anything from 1ft to about 8ft; it's fast and responsive. Makes me look a way better surfer than I am. I'd get one if you have the chance!
