Sunova Casey Flow 2.0 in some small wonk
9' x 32.25" at 142 liters in TR3 tec

Funky waves, but they gave me a better glimpse of what this board can do for me.

Totally different beast altogether. I find the Flow a lot looser and with the narrower nose seems to make it easier to throw about in less than ideal conditions.

You make this board look so cruisey Rick! It becomes a beast in some solid conditions!

ha ha.... these are the conditions I have for the winter, I was glad just to get a session where I could sort of surf.
I am hopeless in small wonk.

I have found a break a few hours from me, where I hope to get a solid session on this board, to let me explore it's potential a bit more.

have been playing around with the fin set up on my 8'8...finally got it in some juice at a near by break last week. I had been running large quobba fins as a thruster initially. First swapped out side fins for some C-Drives.....awesome great hold and drive. Next day tried as a quad C-Drives in front and small quobbas in rear. The surf was bigger clean and fast, I found the quads perfect and again it had great hold and this set up seemed to complement the rails of the board. Looking at the GPS info from my watch I was getting consistent speeds of low 30's klmh, the board didnt lose any of its 'sureness' underfoot and gave so much confidence even on late take offs. The Flow V2 makes a fat old bloke feel like hes charging like a grom!!!!

The fins that I have been liking in the Flow V2 are (used in vid above)
C-drive fronts 4.65" (118 mm)
Small C-drive knock off, in center 3.6" (91.5 mm)

I do not have a quad set of C-drives, but I am going to order a set, so I can experiment

STC, I'm with you! At 73 I'm so lucky to still be able to surf. My dodgy shoulder meant my prone surfing days were over but then ... along came Sups!
So many waves and so little time . Cheers, Jimbo
