Slippery deck

Hey guys. Just bought a second hand 9'5 naish mana. Absolutely loving it. But i found the deck is a bit slippery. Any advice on how i can gain a but more grip on my board?? Cheers

If it has a deckpad, you could always just add some surfboard wax to it... or try sanding the deckpad with rough sandpaper...

Try giving it a good scrub with a brush and soapy water.. Sometime some water that you're paddling in can have a slight oil slick that's not noticeable at the time but can leave your deck pad slightly slippery.

Try simply drying it out absolutely fully. My Hypernut has a section of fairly flat and unpatterned grip in the middle of the deck pad and unless I dry it fully, it seems to retain a thin layer of slickness.
