Wow,

I thought that each year, only minor improvements to sails but that has changed with this design. Now I have only used the sail in offshore wavesailing conditions so this sail wont be for everyone or suit all condititions (i havent tried in onshore yet). But if your main objective is to get the best out of waveriding in offshore down the line conditions, this is the sail could be for you!

It felt very light in hand and was easy and smooth to get out through the shore break in gusty winds with great bottom end power - exsctly what you want as the wind always seems less right in the impact zone - TICK

I am no light weight, currently weighing a heathly 90 kg and this sail gave ample power to get around the break - TICK

On a wave, there is something that happens with the softer body shape that almost feels like power at the start of your bottom turn but then back right off as you turn up the wave face, making your turn feel more powerful, tighter and more vertical up the face. Its about how the sail catches the wind I think, the softer foil seems to catch more wind even when the sail is placed at much greater angles, and this feels to equate to much more control. - BIG TICK

Boosting airs with this sail feels so unreal, I thought that the less rigid foil may work against it in an areial situation but the added control off the bottom seems and the flexibility gave better control in the air and off the top - TICK

What more can I say, I am hooked. If your into pure wavesailing and not as concerned about onshore performance, this design is so unreal I cant believe it.

Can't wait for another session!

What size sail and what board and conditions did you sail it? Did you mean to post your review of the S3 in the SUP forum?
