Hi guys and gals,

Presently have a K15 which wins our monthly 9km race in flat water conditions. We are thinking of going to class races as the number of paddlers increases here so I am thinking of replacing my K15 with something in the 14 foot class.

Paddling over here in the middle east so no chance to demo any contenders.

Can order just about any board so need your advice on the quickest 14 footer out there....

I am 85kg and 9km takes me exactly 60 minutes flat bikkies.

Many thanks,
Buster.

If it's Flat water only, Check out the SB Sprint.
Or a bit choppy Ace.
Also the Fanatic Falcon Holds its own.
All about the motor on top

As windup implies, the SB Sprint has K15 DNA so that's an option if you are in flat water. The 14' Sprints are only 24" and 25" wide, so a bit if a culture shock from the K15's 30" width.

pt, local word is the starby ace is the best 14 still and the 25" allstar is the pick of the 12'6's.

can you confirm or deny that

The 25 is definitely the pick of the 12'6s as it has more volume in the nose and tail than any of the other all stars. I think it has more ace DNA than any of the others.

I don't think too much more needs to be said how good the ace is.

In flat water or into the current, the Sprint 14' is quicker than the 14' Ace, no doubt in my mind. I'm not 100% sure whether the 23" Ace is quicker than the 25". It feels like it is to me but I haven't got any timing to prove it.

I can't tell you anything about the latest 12'6" SBs.
