www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/Review/Which-long-friendly-board-for-a-low-skill-pilot/Since you've paddled so many of the Naish boards curious to ask...
Difference in board speed inbetween the Glide 12' touring and the 12'6" GS?
Been paddling a Nalu 10'10" in the local river and sometimes found it hard going against wind and tide.
Especially since I'm 92kgs and often take my 4 yr old son and sometimes my 11 yr old daughter for a spin as well on it.
So I changed to the 12' touring for more appropriate volume and better performance when conditions were a bit windy and paddling against tides.
Found it handled the extra weight of the kids better but stability of the Nalu was missed a little.
But I'm chasing something still faster through the water still...especially when paddling solo.
BTW tried paddling a 14' GX (I think - 26 & 1/4" wide) and it was a real challenge to me at my skill level and I want something which demands less of me as I'm paddling recreationally not with racing in mind.
So would the 12'6" be much faster through the water or would the difference be minimal?
