Before I start, I will make it clear that I'm a "site sponsor"
This is just a quick run down on a board (one of) that I have been "trialing" over the last week. I have once again jumped back on to the Infinity RNB, Coming from a short board background riding boards that are square in the tail is still alien to me. I have played around with fin configurations and had it in mushy 2ft as well as clean 6ft and everything in between... The boards are super stable and really adaptive to the predominantly crap conditions we see here on the Gold Coast. Unlike similar boards, they carry a surprising amount of paddle speed and will not only glide onto the fatter waves but handle the late drops as well. You are able to almost take off on rail which a lot of boards lack these days and once engaged, They will drive hard of the bottom. The one thing I have really enjoyed about this board is, For someone like me that is used to a tight drawn in tail with little volume. When you are not right on the tail the thing will slide quite easily. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING... Once you are used to it, you can have soooooooo much fun especially in smaller conditions. In all honesty, if someone is chasing there first "performance" orientated surf SUP, These boards are hard to look past. Not only will they give you heaps of versatility, They are a progression board. This is not a board you are going to out grow in a hurry...

I do like the shape of these boards. I will have to demo one one day it's a shame the don't have one around 115L like an 8'0 x 29 or something.

What you riding now mate? We're gonna be having a few sneaky surfs on the way up to Noosa so might be able to have a burn on a few boards.

Thanks guys. I'm I'm on a 10'1 x26 deep Jackson close and a 7'8 minion both about 115L so I was looking for something in between the two styles of boards.
Im in the Gosford area.

Have a quick gander at the F-One range, A few spring to mind, The 8'10 Madeiro is @110l but feels bigger as do most of F-Ones boards The 8'10 Anakao is @115L (personally loving the Anakao at the moment) or even the Noosa range. The Noosa is a performance long board style but with the right fin set up performs like a short board. All there range feels bigger stability wise but perform like much smaller boards!!! I'm still playing around with the demos at the moment trying to dial them in but having a blast... Take a look, would love to hear your thoughts.
