After owning and loving a Sunova 10 X 30 last summer decided to pick up another for the warmer months but which one ? .

now limited budget so looking for a 2016 model probably and narrowed it down to another Sunova prob go for the 10. /29 but also on the list is the Fanatic Stylemaster or the Imagine 9/8 by 29.

Been on the Sunova and Fanatic but struggling to find much on the Dave Kalama special, it looks superb in the shop with **** loads of tail rocker and classic shape anyone been on one

Can't comment on the DK special but have surfed extensively on the Fanatic Stylemaster. Love that board. Classic longboard surfing and I find it very stable whilst paddling around.

Hey Rossall the zu in melbourne have one in there for sale .. Ive ridden it its a sick nose rider ... Pretty thin rain too and massive rocker ..

did feel a little slow rail to rail but that could have been the conditions ...

and way yer it defo go's alright ..

Have you looked at the Naish 10'x28.5" Carbon Nalu ?
None in the state & no one would order one for a reasonable price so went direct to the east.
Have spoken to guy's saying they ride even better than the Lairds.
I just ordered one but not getting rid of the Laird till I ride it.

Will be wks before you see it on the water, always no waves when ya get a new board

I am a big fan of Sunovas but after riding the Style and Naish Nalu LE I would go the Nalu

I'm thinking of selling my 11' GTW and getting one of these ...the 11' is far to big to surf ...in size ...
I actually like the look of the 2016 ..nice Polynesian designs on the bottom ..and carbon
what more do you want ..some say it the best ...10' they've ridden ..
Id like to get it out in some size ..a big point break ..cruzing

Not wet yet, will give you a comparison soon between the Laird.

The new Fanatic Style Master comes in 9 and 10 foot and has sold like hot cakes.

Well took the plunge and picked up a 2016, thanks Cam @ The Standup Surf Shop Freo.

Just need some waves now good luck with that weather has been Crap!
