Saw this on Facebook, looks like a nice shape. Does anyone know anything about them? Other than the outline, does it differ much from the standard deep jc longboard?

Well ill try and keep this short n sweet.

Jackson's model is a "serious" hi-performance longboard styled sup. (Jackson being one of the best longboard super's on the planet)

best ever sale promotion for a board period. Forget all the top level pro talk about boards faster, turner etc. Normal bloke with honest abilities having a range of boards designed. Well done Deep & dogman. Your post makes me want to buy both. The jackson for my ego asperational days and the dogman for my realistic fun days. I hope deep use your description of both board in there marketing as it makes it so easy to understand what both boards are designed to do.

nice board tha dogman, with the production long board 10' can you please run the deck grip all the way up the nose like JL & TSW (hint all manufacture/s?).

Love the sound of that 10'2 , was pretty keen on the 10 stylemaster but once again obsession with Seabreeze has got me thinking that the longer thinner flatter dogman will make it easier to get into more waves .The extra volume and thinner width will make us bigger blokes look stylish cheers deep and dogman. Ps with that colour scheme even my blind wife might come down to the beach and watch me surf . You can only dream right

love the fact that the 10'2 is only 29 wide,
for us bigger guys that surf its hard to find something thats not 30 plus these days thats not a custom board

So true Jared, I just had a burn on the JP longboard 10'6 and it was super fun but 30 wide and 160 ltrs . I found the rails really thin so that was a bonus and the pintail is awesome but I can't wait to give the 10.2 dogman a try the JP als came in a 10.2 but you could notice the fat rails on it as it also is 160 ltrs . The best part about buying a new board is testing as many as you can ,starboard demo day next can't wait to try the 10 nut yeeew! Like a theme park for middle age men these demo days .

My current short sup 7'10 shape is a scaled down version of a wicked 8'2 x 28" x 4" x 97L with a sweet pulled in tail. simon shaped it a few years ago
i got to ride the 8'2 in some seriously meaty waves in southern oz where the board lives and omg that board went insane.....
I fist pumped the air so many times on that board after being blown away by its drive off the bottom to escape being totally annihilated by a lip
So for my latest weapon i choose to go a tad smaller
but keep the original boards wicked rail lines
7'10 x 26 x 4 x 90L
(Im currently weighing in at anywhere between 82kg to 86kg depending on if ive done a good morning sh1t or not)
So....
Simon waved his magic sup designer magic wand and i got to add a few extra personal tweaks i wanted
adjusted the deck roll around the stance area
added volume into the nose girth to assist in paddling hard on the front foot (which i do a lot of, bouncing and hopping on my front foot as i paddle)
and most of all pulled the rail outline into a seriously sweet rounded square tail
Epic smooth rail lines!!!!
And aggressive single to double concaves!!!!!

Thanks for the detailed answer. I can see how a touch more volume towards the nose can help with the weighted forward takeoff a short sup needs as opposed to a shortboard. The rail lines on your board are wicked. Your shaper is a wizard.
I've only got 10kgs on you but my skill set is weaker so more volume is needed to keep me upright.
Not wanting to go wider than 28 for performance I'll have to go longer.

So Dogster................at 86Kgs... you are full of it

just wondering if any of you guys out there have one of the dogman models and how you'd rate it
or even a JC one
they are looking like a good option and i would rather spend my cash in Aus

couple of waves from the 2.40 mark.watch the foot work. it is a good lesson in back foot placement and getting the front foot over near the rails.

What Size?

I have an 8'6 JC model and a 10 ft JC model

I then went from the 8'6 x 28 x 4 to a 7'8 27 x 4 hybrid version fish style board now to a 7'10 x27 x3-3/4 custom with swallow tail

Simon listens and takes in all your comments on how you think you surf and what you want
He then incorpartaes all of your requests and his own thoughts into a model
you sign off on it and whalaaaa its born

DEEP are worth every cent imo

I pay for all of my kit and have no allianses with any brand
I just like spending my money with a local over a production run brand

I tried to have a custom board made by Deep. I went to their factory and talked to simon told him what I wanted and he made notes. I gave my email address and was told the mockup would be emailed through to me. So I waited.and waited.and waited. So I go back and talk again and mention nothing has come through yet and I was told it will come through. So I waited.and waited.and waited. I ended up calling Chris Garrett and talked to him went out and saw him and the next morning the mockup was in my email inbox.
