Nice pics Eastcoast

Do you have any ideas on the 12'6 Switchblade's weight?

Also, is it a scaled down version of the 14' Boardworks Vortice without double concaves on the bottom?

The Raimana is 9'8 x 28 9/16" x 3 3/4"

Will be getting more info inc volume etc soon via the guys at C4.

The Switchblade will have a slightly flatter rocker and differing deck profile to the Vortice.

Weights etc coming soon.

These new boards, and a whole lotta SV's, hitting these shores soon !

why yes I am...........Oh, were you talking about the board?

Seems to only be about .5kg more than the glide, but I cant get any info on the volume as it seems to be closely guarded from C4.

Just got delivery of the new C4 9'8 Raimana World Pro. Comes in red, green, or blue graphics. Has the option of quads, concave deck similar to the SV, and paddle leash plugs too for convenience. Here are some more photos I took this morning:

Eastcoast SUP,

Where does the C4 9'8 Raimana World Pro fit in the C4 Quiver?

C4 have a 9'6 which is a good board, more rocker than the 9'3 SV which I have. Both are designed for different purposes and so you could potential own both. Is the 9'8 supersceding the 9'6 as from the photos it looks similar.

Also, what is the plug on the nose?

Thanks

The plug on the nose is a vent plug similar to the C4 race boards. It's just a screw system with o-ring.

The Raimana has even more pronounced nose and tail rocker than the 9'6 SV. It is certainly more high performance based, conducive to big sucky/hollow barrel type waves. Has a swallow tail with channels rather than the hard diamond tail of the SV boards.

The 9'3 and 9'6 Sub Vectors will not be superceded by this model.

Word is there is a 9'2 and some sub-9 foot C4 boards currently in development.

Hope this helps.

We'll have a Raimana in store (as well as new stock of Sub Vectors, race boards, iSups...) before the weekend Shane if you are keen for a close up.
