Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 2015 versions of these boards? Rockers, bottom shapes etc?

Pretty different boards.. With the Jav's only comimg in GX and LE construction and the Glides only in GS construction the weight difference is huge.

I'd say the Jav's are 60% a flat water race board and 40% a DW board.. and the Glide being 60% a DW board and 40% a flat water race board.

But having said that I love to DW my Jav because it feels slightly faster.. The sharp nose rails don't catch like you'd think they would.

Rockers are very similar but the rails.. deck shape.. and bottom shape near the nose being where they're the most different.

What would you call a big paddle ..in Kms .say 3 hours .no wind .
out of the two board obviously the GX is the best for long distance .
I'm guessing the lighter board would float better .
Where with wind you need it to sit down in the water better ..?
