I also reckon it's a bit easier and more fun to surf from the tail compared to the 17'4" Bullet.
I have to to say though, those NSP DC 17'10" look the goods. I'm looking forward to getting a run on one. :)
The f16 comes into its own in the shorter messy and windy.
In the brisbane bay run I head straight for the shallow flats where other crew head for the channel.
But even on the gold coast the bullet can a slug and the 16 still goes. As I said I believe its a more versatile board.
The bullets seem to pull away a bit if its stretched out. Same as then dale paddled the ul nsp.
But when we had the last few k and the wind was blocked the nsp just left me f16 and mate on a bullet.
That nsp is even fast in the flats.
Ps area 10 from the photos you posted you really couldnt go anything but the f16
