Ha.. The lipstick camera looks great.. We just need to see some SUP'ing vid's from it now..

Ha.....still haven't got it wet yet........still doing some thinking as to safety tethers and such (can't afford to lose or wreck another camera).
In the meantime it makes a wonderful garden ornament

Yep it was me that had forgotten seabreeze protocol......it wasn't windows 10 fault. But 10 does have a new photo viewing thing going on though...that is ....um...."new"'.

Always exciting to get a new toy yugi....thought it might slot into the "reviews" section of "board talk and reviews".....you gotta seize the moment :)

Also.....you see how that motorcycle footage had no "fish eye" roundedness.
They have designed special lens for this camera.....if I was wishing upon a star I wish it would show waves as they really are

Will have to keep you posted Tardy........there was the go pro hero 4 basic that snapped off its mounting.....there was that cameras partner where the go pro camera case latch came "unlatched" in biggish waves. There was also my go pro silver where the hatch came undone. Would recommend cable ties to ensure your go pro does not do an oops.
This one has a really good underwater case (about 70 metres)
Maybe it will fog up in cold water.......haven't done the research.
But sick of drowning go pros. Think they okay for hanging off mountainsides and snowboarding.....but the underwater cases not really up to coping with large wave impacts

Ok thanks..sounds like you've lost a few .bugger.dont have trouble with cold water ...18.5 and rising. Maybe if I go ,go pro. Chest mount .
or make up its own leg rope ..miniature size.drill a small whole in the case ..and tie it ...with piece of down haul rope .if I buy ..I ain't loosing it

i need to take some footage of this wave that breaks ,starts off as a right hander point break ,then turns into a left hander after meeting up with the left hand reef .sic.long ride.backhand and forehand .4-5 ft. The left barrels .

Yep nothing wrong with a go pro
If I was worrying about the camera I would go with the chest mount.....nothing really rigid like a helmet or paddle or board....a lot more stretch and flex when a wave breaks upon you
