Today I caught one of these....snake eels.....bury themselves in sand with just their head sticking out....ambush passing fish

Unusual for turtles in NZ but warmer water. Nice snapper

For a second there I was worried you were going to cut him up and eat him! Apart from that Gizz, very soothing viewing in the middle of a hectic day in the office.

The Bic Wing a bit sulky at the moment.....doesn't like my new friend?

The Bic Wing strikes again. This big boy schnapper caught 2 km off the Tolaga Bay beach this morning. Did start paddling out in the dark which always gets your shark imagination all excited. A longline of course

Is that a paddle board your fishing on !! Must be a big board.

A 19 pounder a couple of weeks ago......should you let the big ones go because they are "the breeders" or just eat them?
