Try a second hand 10'6" ish sup. Might be a little big but great size for flat water/small waves and an easy sell when you move onto something smaller. 1k should get you something good
Hey. I've already had some experience using a 10ft Trigger Bros sup on flat and in small surf. I felt pretty confident using that and didn't fall off much at all so don't think I want to go bigger. Was able to ride the face of the wave.
I've looked around for used boards (almost bought one yesterday - but it fell through) and am struggling to find something suitable. The links above are either too expensive for second hand or not available in Victoria, where I live.
I'm currently weighing up between the following 2 new boards. Any advice on these would be great:
ECS EVO 10"
ecsboards-australia.com.au/collections/evo/products/evo-blueor
SBWH EVOKE 9"2' or 10" (Leaning to the 9"2' - is this silly?)
www.thesurfboardwarehouse.com.au/evoke-sup/Both boards are delivered to my door for 1200 and include a carbon paddle and everything else I need.
Thoughts?
