First run today on the Sidewinder in 10-15kn from Fishermans Bay in Mornington to Mt Martha which is a tad over 6km. Compared to my Glide picking up runners is like shooting fish in a barrel and now I have had a bit more practice getting stable I can not wait for. 20-25kn run at some stage. The videos are short as were the runs but considering the wind speed I was pretty happy with the way the board ran. Chasing down runners was pretty easy and changing direction was simple and stable. Only hit the water once so all over pretty happy with how I am going and getting my sea legs is advancing well so bring on more wind.
I have added some stills showing how the nose cuts through the chop paddling into the wind and it certainly does not dig in and cause a problem, this board is a keeper!!

I thought top speed of 14km per on such small runners was also pretty good??

Also apologies for the white legs it's the first day on the water in shorts after Winter!!!

I never get to brown Tardy, to many red heads in my genes even though I did not get the red hair I saved that for a couple of my sons!

Hi Dave
Looks good and looks warm... welcome to Summer!

just a caution: I'd want my leash firmly secured around my ankle.
