Hey everyone. ... i just had a chance to paddle a JM 14x30" in the Pro-Elite construction, and really like it. I am looking for a board that will be a good addition to the SIC F14 that i have. I am hoping it will be a decent rough water board and do pretty well at downwinding too. The board is mainly for my son. He is 6'3" and about 205 at 18 years old. He's a pretty solid paddler and avid swimmer.
Does anyone here paddle a JM board? Does it do well in rough water? How about downwinding?

Do you mean the 12'6" x 30" Latitude or the 14' x 29 Navigator?
