Hey People,

Anybody have any info on these JP Australia boards? I'm getting sick of my Naish mana, & looking at getting something like the 10'5" wide point starboard, or maybe the 10'6" Coreban rocket. Then I came across the JP & they look pretty good, but I know nothing about them.......
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey DJ,

Looking at the fusion 10"8. I'm 110kgs & 6'4". Their website says it's 193 litres but the shape looks pretty surfable.
Where are they sold?

I am 115 kgs and have the 10'8x34 and love it, super stable, the stepped in deck works, and it looks sensational!

And i know where you can get one too it might not be red though

Windsurfnsnow 02 99710999. 3 different constructions in the 10'8". Off the top of my head as I'm not at the shop, the Wood Sandwich is $1599 and the Wood Sandwich Gloss is $18ish.
Sam.

Thanks. Will call. Has anyone got any info on the first question about the Coreban or Starboard I asked about?

The Rocket's only 30" wide, at your weight and height it might be a handful (at 6'4, width is your friend). Haven't been on the Wide Point but I struggled on the slightly wider Whopper. I'm a big fan of the Fanatic Allwave for a big bloke. I have the 9'10, that or the 9'6 would be worth a look. I didn't mind the 10'8 Cabrinha (JP), but I liked the 10 x 34 Coreban better and the 9'10 x33 Allwave better still.

Hi mate - one of our crew rides a 10.2 jp fusion and has had up to 95 kg on it and it really shines in the surf - a much better surf sup IMO than the Starboard WP for an intermediate or better heavier rider. If you are seeking an allrounder with great longboardy type surf feel then seriously look at a 10.9 jp widebody.
As for DJs comments about the jps being re-hashed cabrinhas - that is only very slightly true - the fusions are the same shape as last years cabrinha c-series but are lighter (IMO) and new graphics - and are fantastic surf sups for heavier riders.
Not sure where you are located but SHQ in Melbourne stock JP and will give you no bs advice and unbeatable deals (also IMO)

Thanks guys,

I was just looking at the Fanatic Allwave video while you were sending advice. So now I have another board to consider. The 9 10 x 33 looks pretty good with the fish tail. Looks like it's between this one & the JP.
Thanks for your help. Enjoy the waves..........
