the 2013 naish 9'10.
I can't even imagine how this came to be over here given its still 2012
Think they sent the early test builds over here (handhold in wrong place...$800 off price)
Seems to surf really nice (stablility plus a good dose of friskiness)
Have found it happiest in sucky beach breaks so far

That's quite a discount considering a lot of boards out there have the hand hole in the wrong spot.. I'm sure someone got their arse kicks bak at the factory..

Looks like it would be a great board.. I might have to sell my 9.0 and get one.

You should have gone the 9'5 DJ , first board I havn't wanted to get rid of after 6 months, the 9'10 & 9'5 look the same side by side at a glance

Gizzie, let's see some pictures!

Fast rocker since you mentioned beach breaks? What do you think of the nose rocker? I believe someone on the forum said it was a little low, so curious to hear your thoughts.

It was me that said the nose rocker was a little flat. I owned the board for a few weeks & found myself nosediving too regularly on late takeoffs. I sold it & bought a C4 Raimana. That had more nose rocker but the stability just wasn't there for me. I ended up selling that & going back to the 9'10" about 3 weeks ago. Just being more conscious of getting further back on the tail during the late ones has all but eliminated the pearling.

Really loving this board now. Great stability in the lineup, thin rails make it turn great, plenty of paddle power. It's my all conditions board. Riding a 9'6" Hull Ripper for cleaner days. 11'4" Nalu for cruising, nose riding & general longboard style surfing.

Think I've found my perfect quiver

The handle placement is definitely a bitch! But I figured out how to use my leash as a shoulder strap so that is no longer an issue.

Sorry haven't looked at this topic for a while. I find also a bit of tension on the legrope compensates for handle misplacement.
So far have most enjoyed the board in sucky beach break, Haven't had a problem with lack of nose rocker. The board does have lots of glide due to its length so you should have time to get it shipshape before the wave gets critical.
Haven't quite come to grips with it in fatter slower waves (makorori point) as it hasn't got the momentum of my PSH AA 10'6.......but that is a much heavier board.
Will report back tomorrow after our "good surf day".....has been a lake here recently

They must have put the handle in the wrong place in a couple - one I had at a demo yesterday was a bit off too - but considering how much the board weighs it wasn't that bad.

Just been riding mine on the Sunshine coast for the last couple of days. Must say I'm finding it better every time I go out.

I have the 9'5" and find running it as a quad makes it feel about 5" shorter without much loss in stability. Give it a go

Towball is like an insane parrot endlessly repeating "try it as a quad try it as a quad"
Have had the board out in some bigger waves over the weekend & it is really really good fun to ride.
It feels very well balanced & dependable but still frisky....even not as a quad lol

Not a problem for me either.....sometimes you think "why get a new board?"
But board design/shapes are getting more finely tuned. This board is good :)
