hi
after advice please.
I have an older starboard drive 10'5 .
Thinking of a bit of touring, would it be worth getting a 12'6" isup starboard zen touring?

Would there be much difference in performance. Adavantage of a isup over hard?

Thanks in advance.

hi,
i had the drive 3 year ago and replace it for the 12.6 isup starboard zen touring
there is adiffrent , the 12.6 is much better for touring and much better glide
the drive is better in wave or chopy days
the 12.6 has abit difficult in windy days
if you use it for touring the 12.6 id better.

Going longer distance , or a few days trip, compared to surf.

drrrr stands to reason I guess. Do you load up all you'll need for a few days on your board?

Not done any yet, but that is the plan, or full day out with kit.

A 12'6" ISUP is great for this. The extra volume works well for loading your kit on. My Starboard served me well paddling the Mekong river through Laos a few years ago. Just rolled it up at the end of the day and rocked up to find somewhere to stay.
