Hi there :)Quick question - thought this would be the place to ask.A friend of mine is looking at setting up a water sports pontoon overseas and will have SUP's on offer as well. So my question is does anyone have any recommendations for the best inflatable SUPs for commercial use around? Very much appreciate the feedback.

Thank you :)

He can't go wrong with a board like the Naish One.. and I see Naish (US) have a special offer going on them right now.. If he contacts one of the major brands he might even get a more special deal on a similar type board.. Are they for rental on a lake.. river.. or surf?

Thanks for the reply David :)I believe it will be off a pontoon in a sheltered bay near a reef in Fiji so i guess Surf. He was recommended red paddle and starboards but i thought i would ask here because you guys all have some awesome info and real life experience with the boards.Thank you again much appreciated :)

I'm thinking they need to be big enough for anyone of any size can paddle so either 12'6"x30" or 10'x35" like the Starboard Whopper inflatable..

He can go wrong with the Red Air boards but I'm not sure what sizes they offer or how expensive they'll be..

Lots and lots to choose from these days... I'm thinking its best to stick with the major brands..

Thank you for your insight :) Yeah i said he would need a good size to accommodate a range of different people too :) Yeah agree that known names would probably be way better :)

A friend of mine runs a SUP business and she is using a couple of Naish One's and a Naish Glide Inflato (www.naishsurfing.com/product/glide-inflatable-120/). The Glide is super stable at 34" wide and is a good size for the bigger paddlers. I am sure she had a 130kg bloke on it without any problems.

We've found the C4 Waterman iSups very popular and successful for hire use, especially the XXL 10'9 x 34" and iTrekker 12'6. There are also specific Outfitter versions of the iTrekker and BK Pro 10'11 which include a large bow handle and rubber bumpers around the join line for added durability.

Inflatables with a D ring under the nose are good for hire facilities based on a marina, jetty or pontoon as that makes it easy to tie them up. The Starboards have this, and I think the Naish's too but not sure.

Also check out the Blue Planet range, they have a distributor in Fiji now too.
