Took a look at the 2010 Starboard sup surf range, cheers Tryfan

, I like the look of most of the surf shapes that year. Easy to relate to after riding the element, they are variations of a theme.
Any one had much experience with any of the smaller boards in the range.
I realize these are an older designs but there are strong echos in the current lineup of sawn off/ truncated designs. Probably werent as refined, heavier but I like the pulled in tails. I would rather feel in control than spin vertically and I don't mind moving around on a board.
Surfed this weekend in a large lumpy swell, ended up inside a bay more protected but lots of water moving about with very high tide. Was stoked to be riding the element. Had a couple of real fun take offs hooking in high and tight . I like the idea of the same but shorter and thinner.
