Anyone know why the 9' Hokua has different thickness ie 4" on some and 3 3/4" on others but all 125 l volume?

The 2012 & 2013 models are 3 & 3/4. Before that they were 4"

Zeusman, thank you for the info.
Did the change in thickness make much difference to the performance and stability? Where was the volume moved to as it seems there was no change to the volume?

I can't answer that one sorry. I think the thickness went when they started making the concave decks which does add stability.
As for the volume being the same? No idea!
